9:00AM - Register for the day! - At 9:00am we'll begin to welcome our participants and take your registration details ahead of the days events.

9:30AM - Welcome & Introductions - By 9:30 we expect everyone to be ready to start the day. Imelda, your facilitator for the day, will go over the agenda, housekeeping, and session details.

10:00AM - The StartUp Game - Business is a game, and those who win - know how to play it! During our ice-breaker session you'll work alongside other attendees to play (and win) in the world of business.

11:00AM - Building an MVP with Rebecca Stockdale - Once you have your business idea, the next step is building your minimum viable product. In this session, you'll learn from an MVP expert on how to build a low-cost MVP for your start-up.

12:00PM - Business Models with Tom Penford - Having the correct business model, can be the difference between scale and fail. In this session you'll learn all about the different business models, and which is best for your business.

1:00PM - LUNCH

2:00PM - Funding with Jonny Clark - With so many different funding types available, which ones is best for your business? In this session, your facilitator will talk you through everything from crowdfunding to grant funding, venture capital, and more.

3:00PM - Scaling with Phil Birss - Now you have all the foundations, its time to take it to scale! In this session you'll learn all about the key ingredients of scaling a business with our expert facilitator.

4:00PM - Founder Panel - To wrap up the day, hear from a panel of Founders at different stages in their journey, and the lessons they learned along the way.

5:00PM - Wrap Up & Close

Baltic Ventures is a pre-seed tech accelerator on a mission to support game changing founders who are building the solutions and companies of tomorrow. From our hyper local base in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle we accelerate early-stage tech companies with global ambition.

Our mission is to build a flagship early-stage tech accelerator in the Liverpool City Region. We want to create an environment where being based outside of London is no disadvantage to emerging technology companies.

In 2022, 50% of announced equity deals and 69% of pounds deployed went to London-based tech companies.The North West secured 6.12%

Our aim is to address this imbalance and give a platform to underserved founders building exceptional companies.

Over the next 5 years we'll be running 5 cohort accelerator programmes at our hub in the Baltic Triangle and investing in 50 early stage tech companies.
